Cyclohexylamine（CHA）

Cyclohexylamine is a colorless transparent liquid with a strong fishy and ammonia odor. flammable. Soluble in water, miscible with general organic solvents such as ethanol, ether, acetone, ethyl acetate, chloroform, heptane, and benzene. Cyclohexylamine can volatilize with water vapor. It can absorb carbon dioxide in the air Chemicalbook and form white crystalline carbonate. It forms an azeotrope with water, the azeotropic point is 96.4°C, and the water content is 55.8%. The aqueous solution is alkaline. The pH of 0.01% aqueous solution is 10.5. Its vapors form explosive mixtures with air.

Cyclohexylamine can be used as a raw material for surfactants to produce cyclohexylamine alkylbenzenesulfonate for emulsifiers and foaming agents; raw materials for fragrances to produce allyl cyclohexyl propionate; raw materials for dyes to produce acid blue 62 , Disperse Fluorescent Yellow, Disperse Fluorescent Yellow H5GL, Weak Acid Blue BRN, Disperse Blue 6 and dye auxiliaries;
