Product application
1,4-Butanediol is an important basic organic chemical and fine chemical raw material. Its derivatives are fine chemical products with high added value, and are widely used in solvents, medicines, cosmetics, plasticizers, curing agents, pesticides, herbicides, artificial leather, fibers, engineering plastics, etc. 1,4-Butanediol is used to manufacture tetrahydrofuran (THF), γ-butyrolactone (GBL), N-methylpyrrolidone (NMP), etc.
Packaging & Storage
It should be packaged in aluminum, stainless steel, galvanized iron or plastic barrels, or stored and transported in tank trucks according to the regulations for flammable and toxic substances. As the melting point is as high as 20.2℃, the tank truck should be equipped with a heating tube.
