How to prepare dicyclohexamine

2024-07-26

The hydrorefining reactor was a tubular fixed bed reactor with an inner diameter of 20mm. The catalyst was a nickel-based highly active catalyst with a fixed volume of 15mL. The catalyst was installed in the isothermal zone of the reactor. The particle size was 20-40 mesh, and the mass ratio of metal elements was Ni∶Al∶Mo = 85∶5∶5.

Crude dicyclohexylamine and hydrogen were passed into the upper part of the reactor for hydrorefining. The products were continuously collected and analyzed from the lower part of the reactor, and the hydrogen after gas-liquid separation was recovered and reused.

The Chemicalbook composition (by weight percentage) of crude dicyclohexylamine was 10.15%, aniline 5.11%, dicyclohexylamine 79.91%, dicyclohexylamine 0.31%, cyclohexylaniline 0.1% and cyclohexylaniline 1.88%. Reaction conditions: 180℃, 3.5MPa, liquid volume space velocity 0.2h-1, hydrogen-oil ratio 1000.

Distribution of hydrorefined products: 5.76% cyclohexylamine, 0% aniline, 93.03% dicyclohexylamine, 0% dicyclohexylamine, 0.01% cyclohexylaniline, 0% cyclohexylaniline.
