Brief description of pyridine

Pyridine and its derivatives are one of the most widely used heterocyclic compounds and important fine chemical raw materials. They are widely used in pesticides, pharmaceuticals, dyes, daily chemical industry, spices, feed additives, rubber additives and other fields. In recent years, low toxic pesticides have developed rapidly all over the world. Pyridine and its derivatives have been widely used in high efficiency and low toxicity pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, etc. There is also a large demand in the pharmaceutical and feed industries. 

Pyridine series products mainly include pure pyridine and synthesized low-carbon alkyl substitutes 3-methylpyridine, 2-methylpyridine and 4-methylpyridine. They are mainly used as raw materials for the production of three kinds of derivatives: paraquat, tobacco-killing and dichloropyridine, nicotinic acid, nicotinamide, pesticide intermediate trichloropyridine.
